What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
How would you feel if you lived free from anger and hate?
What would you see if you opened your mind and not just your eyes?

Don’t forget to mention that it takes a bit of time to reach these calm and peaceful waters. Some people come to Buddhist practice with high hopes. I worry about them. If they don’t experience a new feeling or a change quickly enough, they can give up and turn away. The analogy of water dripping slowly on a rock is a good one to offer. That rock can change a lot — really a lot. But it will not happen in one week or one month.
